For SD the latest is the TM3000 series I believe, (3100,3300?,3200,3400)

Not sure what the difference is between that series and the 5000 series which is more popular (5200,5300,5400)

For HD it is the TM6800 or TM6900.

I have a TM1000 and a TM6800, the user interface on them is near identical,as far as I know so is the 5000 series. Both the 1000 series and 6000 series are very easy to use. I have never opened the manual for either of them.

The TM1000's are a joy to use. Nicely designed good picture quality and easy to use even for beginners.

I did have a TM4100 for a while as well, but it was a totally different beast. Nowhere near as easy to use - its gone to a new home now giving the fta channels off 28E to one of my work pals.
