Actually my first LNB ever was from Maspro and it came with my first dish i bought in 1983, a Luxor 1.8meter cassegrain.

The LNB had a NF of 2.7dB

Sharp released the worlds first triple LNB on the market in 1986 i beleive as i attended the large Cable and Satellite convention held in London back then.

I actually bought this LNB from Sharp directly in their boot, remember the nice english lady from Sharp.

It performed OK, however SMW was still best so the Sharp LNB eventually landed on the shelf after a week.

You had the Echostar SR-5500?

The tuner did only go up to 1750MHz but echostar released some extender you put between the receiver and LNB and you could do full range to 2150MHz
