Default Need active cable line for Eurovox?

Hi there guys, I've just cancelled my Virgin Media tv subscription and in order for Eurovox to work do I need an active cable line, or will it still work despite me cancelling my subscription?

Thanks

You 100% need an active cable line for the Eurovox to "work" (i.e pick up subscription channels). Therefore, you need to have Virgin's Cable Broadband or Virgin's minimum TV package. Or if you are lucky, your cable line may still be active without either of those; you will need to test that out.

How could I test it out, if I don't have a Eurovox box?

Cheers.

if you have just cancelled you will probably still be active it is pot luck if they will disconnect you or not. to test your line put a ariel plug on the end of your cable feed and plug it in your tv and tune foe an anoloug channel if you get 1-4 (or1-5 in a pure area) your line is active.

dead easy takes 3 min to update the sw just make sure you use a null modem cable and if using a laptop make sure you have correct usb adaptor for the null modem cable.
no need for an adaptor if using a desktop pc.
