starview 2 the box problem

hi all

i have just updated the software on a starview 2 box and now all i get is the display on the box saying "on" but nothing else, the remote will turn it on and off but the screen is blank and i cant get the menu screen or anything. i have tried to upload the software again but it fails.

when u update it turn the box off then d/l firmware and turn it on its been mentioned lots of times

the box was turned off when i updated it and i have also tried with it turned on as well but i still get the "on" and no picture. the uploader i am using is ver 4.03 051005 and the bin file is H20071015 454eE. i have tried to search for the answer but if i use keywords such as "on" it says too many returns on search.

What previous firmware did you have? And have you tried to reload it. For version 4.54 you must first have version 4.52 or later loaded and then load 4.54 and logo file.

thanks mate, i have 4.54 and logobq but where can i get 4.52? i have the tcb.cc toolbar and that has files for starview but does not include 4.52 it has v400ee and a fix for ireland called t mmds but all the other files seem to be for the starview 1 or 3.

Set Up

IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM 4.51 OR EARLIER PLEASE FLASH 4.54 1ST THEN AFTERWARDS FLASH THE LOGO FILE.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE 4.52 ON OR LATER THEN JUST FLASH THE 4.54 STRAIGHT ON WITHOUT THE LOGO FILE.
YOU MUST USE THE NEW LOADER SOFTWARE.

the above are the instructions you dont need 4.52
if you have got 4.54 on do the logo file after
