Was given a box that had a funcard in it, when in box says smartcard not in properly but it is, so i put another card in and that was ok but declined so i read the previous and wrote details to a new funcard, then that did the same as the first one, and it wonnt let me read it in Nagra either, is there a way to get ird and bk from hex files? anyone got any ideas?

use this prog , with ur ext eep from ur funcard u will get the ird and bk through this

cheers for proggy dude massive help unfortunately it comes up with FFFFFFFF so im guessing the card is wrong and the box is a doorstop, unless someone knows how to overcome this

not to sure mate , could b the way the card was progeed by who ever progged it , and may be needed to b done some diff way to get the boxkey from it , the ird u should b able to get from the box itself as there should b a sticker on the box somewere on the back or the bottom which is 10 digits long , which u then put into windows calc in scientific mode and convert from dec to hex

yeah i can do IRD from eng menu is the bk thats a pain in the ass, to my understandin this hasn't been cracked yet, so i think im stuck

apart from tryin to find a diff way to see if can get the bk from the card , then as u say , there is no way of getin it from the box as it hasnt been cracked yet , u prob just got a doorstop or a fta box ,

u never know someone else might now a way of gettin info from the hex file

it didnt come with the mosc either it had a funcard in it already, but hey never mind i'll give it him back and if someone cracks it one day then all may be well, thankyou for your help and advice

IF the box came with a funcard you can read the details of the funcard.... theres also a program i have that reads the eeprom on a card.

i have a program that reads ird and bk from funcard hex file but when i run it it comes up with all F in both boxes, i will try your way though if your offering as i would like to see if i can get this up and running but wouldnt it just do the same thing? its not looking good, i dont even know if the card in it is even linked to the box
