help with pace box "which box is it ????

Hi i am doing the best i can to learn from this site and all the posts and tuts but a little confused as to which box i have brought and which programmer i may need i have read the details from the plate on the box and they are these.

PACE
MOD B
H/W VERSION 2
S/W VERSION 3_6_11_P10N_P_P4001_R_

I have a nagra card with the box when i go in to engineering i get this about the card .

smart card version DNASPO11 REV BOD

Would some one please point me in the right direction of which box this may be .

And can i find out in engineering if the card is locked or not ,(please what do i look at )

I am a "nubie" at this and dont mind a pm if anyone can help with advice ,instruction , directions ,

the best way to know what model box you got, is turn it over as it is written on the bar code, ie pace di 4000t ect ect

Do some searching loads of guides about "PACE"

I just have a jtag for my pace 4000`s and a Infinity USB Unlimited card reader

yes, cant be jtag`ed u need a simm led to do it

could i not try and do this through the rs232 coms port ? i read that some have been succesfull with this

i never tried it, on the old boxes ( pre virgin ) i used to unloop and get the bk that way. But for over 2 years i`ve stuck to 4000`s and jtag, and if need be, just flashed a working macro

Hi seamouse and thanks for the advice and help , i got this box with original card Nhell and am trying to find out if its locked or blocked ! can you point me in the right direction to do this . i can get into engineers mode and think i have the nagra IRD got net id just need boxkey now i think !

completly new to this so please forgive any ignorance on my part .
