pace 1000 question

i got a pace 1000 i did about a year ago (only every one i did), week b4 the pin update was done.I used to get getting err2 so had to stick a fag packet in the box to move the simm back a bit and it worked like a dream.

Now year on( been in garage for about 7 months), i was looking to use it. Just tried it and keeps looping on sync?

if i took a simm out of another 1000 and stick it in, would this change anything? or is the flash, bk store on it?

other wise, ill just write the bk on it and sell on.

changing the sim from same models is fine, wont change the bk for the box.
