When i ring up to cancel my cable subscription should i take out my eurovox and put my NTL box back in the cable connection or is it okay to ring up and cancel with the eurovox in?

What do you mean? If i have my ntl box always in then how the hell am i meant to watch my eurovox? Do you mean just when i ring to cancel i should have it in? Also i always thought that if you had a phoneline and broadband with NTL (which i do) they could not hear the talkback. I am also going to keep the minimum package so they do not come to take away my box.

Hi keep the minimum package, the cable box that they gave you has a "chip" this talk's back to them. They use it to update your card and box, that is why people leave it pluged in to the cable as the sp nthell in your case know that the box is on line.

You need to get a cable splitter. Send one cable to your original box and the other to your eurovox.

Thats the one fella, but you don`t need it, just cancel your NT hell account and carry on using your pvr box............ Simple as that, if it will make you feel better plug itin when you phone them...It won`t do no harm, will it...
