Default Lost quite a few channels

In the last two days I have lost quite a few channels that run on four different frequences,by a few I mean about 20 and to me thats a lot ...wondering if anyone else around the Wolverhampton/Walsall area is experiencing the same problem ? I have done manual scans for the frequencies and also a channels update but without any luck so far..so far I havent done a power scan ...the frequencies are hovering around the 7/12 % when I go through them,on screen its saying no signal or searching for signal ...luckily for me I have the Sports channels and movie channels as normal, its mainly all the discovery channels etc that have gone and I like watching those too...all the channels are OK on the set top box that is working perfectly ....

The channels are still missing ...this is the third day now,I was thinking it might be transmitter problems and they would come back but its unlikely now .....

save your cdf file and do a fresh powerscan as they might of swopped a few TPs around.i had to do a fresh powerscan a couple of weeks ago cause they changed the transponder/frequencey of santanta 2,bravo in manchester.
if you find the new TPs just manually add them to your existing cdf then theres no need to rearrange all channels

A powerscan takes only a max of 20 mins (in my case, at least) and is well worth doing when you lose channels.

From what I have read, the cable companies often change the transponder (TP) frequencies, so the only way to get the channels on those frequencies back is to do a scan.

Thats what I did ronster saw no other way round it,there was at least 4 that had changed their frequencies,a power scan brought them all back

I have had this problem since I got a new computer. I just noticed that the channels come back when my computer is turned off but as soon as the computer comes on i lose like 2 branches of channels(sky premier, setanta2, itv and ch4 etc).

I take it there is some sort of interference from my computer so nothing much i can do.
