Default EV PVR More Info On Recording

Hi All,
I have been playing around with my EV PVR and discovered a few things such as-
It has been stated in the review and numerous other posts that while recording you can watch any other channel in the same transponder list ?
I’m sure most of us have all our programs’ sorted into favs and use this function to select the channel we want to view.
If I use Favs and select a channel I want to watch / record I have found that there are only 1-3 additional channels to select from using channel up / down option.
This is also the case if you use Favs then EPG to set recording- strange but I will investigate further….
Although if you use the TV button at the top of remote to open the full channel listings and scroll to the channel you want to want to record, press ok to select channel then press record you then can use the channel up / down option to view all the other available channels in the same transponder, on average 6-8 channels - but don’t forget to stop the recording manually when programme is finished as the pvr will continue recording this channel until you stop it.

Also has anyone else noticed that if you start to record a channel you lose the EPG on all channels for aprox 3-5 mins ?????

I’m sure if we keep posting all our findings the clever guys at Kuro will hopefully take note and release updated firmware to sort out a lot of the teething problems
Hope this helps
McTaz
