straight forward lead. m/f from what i remember. however, make one your self with ribbon cable and press on male/ female connector. You can the nensure you have m/f at both ends and make it as long as you want.

Yes the card will need unlocking, unless someone has already done it, beware of buying one with a false bk.

Hi all im in the process of looking into modding my SA8300 ,Im on the understanding i will not need to lift the chip as the box is from my area .
I have looked at a cpl of guides on how 2 do this and the guides ive read kinda cross each other so im a little baffled in 1 guide im told an atmega card will only work and another im told a fun card will also work .

I put the box in this morning (with the card removed) and sucessfully updated the box and veiw all fta channels with no problem .

Ive also perchased a 50db reverse path filter as i was told in 1 guide that this will be needed .

My question is can anybody (who has succesfully done 1) give me a step by step guide on what to do and what flash is needed for a funcard.
I dont have a card programmer but ive been chatting to another member on here who lives very close who is willing to do the card for me he has done a pace4001 himself but like me would like more info into doing the V+ boxes.

Thanks in advance
Shaun

hi m8, if your doing a V+ box the process is the dame as doing a pace box, and a FUN CARD or a MOSC will work for that box...
