Can sum1 please point in the right direction I have a Scientific Atlanta 2100 modem and have been told these are easy to mod?

Are there any tuts out there?

have you got a max 232 lead

before you start loading firmware, check the big chip in the middle
if its a BCM3349, you can load it with Infinite or the new and excellent Haxorware, the bcm3349 is the same as a SB5101 and ambit-250 and so the firmware is the same too

if its a BCM3348 it will need sb5100 firmware or modded firmware dumps that will suit, and these older 3348 ones may not have a jtag header so you need to be carfull what you load to it, cos if you brick it you will have a hard time revieving it
