unable to get flahed modem to work

hi guys

i have recently flashed a 255 modem which works fine next door and any where else on the street.

i have a set top box through vm so i know that they have not cut me off.

a friend of mine had the same problem when he signed up for bt he came of bt to go on to vm but was unable to get vm registration site the same as me so the engineers came out and boosted is signal which then worked.

as im not actually with vm i cant do this does any one have any ideas

look at the isolater on the wall it may be anologe .take it out of line

all ready tried that still dosent work

if you can get a sub box you can see if you got return path on your drop ...if you have if you are to close to the cab you can try a forward path attenuator about 6db
