Default Any Extras??

Tried AltDVB had a nightmare, as such i have started at the bottom - just got a minidish up hoping for bbc/itv HD.
This program works straight out the box (not that it came in one)...
I'd wanted to use alt DVB for plug-ins key grabbers etc.. as next experiment is motorised dish
Are there any add-ons for this so you can get a few "Freebies"??
As i said just started out in this caper so need all the help i can get!!
