Default noob to moddin

i have a telewest pace cable box which i wish to chip.
have read a lot on these forums but im still pretty green.

is there 1 sticky that really is the best for noobs to begin with.

apologies if this has been asked a million times before.

Read the novice angel guide (previous bigmaq toolbar) and get to grips with that first.

What model is your pace? you'll need a programmer - i have an old dynamite one but i hear the infinty is a good one. Also donwload the bigmaq toolbar. Just google it and you'll find it. you need your bk & ird to mod the box. If you go into the eng menu and look at the nagra serial code you can check that number to see if its in the database to get your bk - or open ur box and look at the number on the scart...you can download the database from downlaods...
