Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P200

Anyone have one of these...? Im having trouble with the lighting on this one. I don't know if it's a problem with the flash but the pics are coming out dark...

I was actually going to get a second hand one of these, ive been told they're good. but if you have used one then you obviously know more than me

the flash is only good for about 3 meters, what mode have u got the camera in?
