eurovox remote problem/green lock light

i came home last nite went to change channel to find remote not working then amazeingly it worked after bout 4 hours but this morning iv woke up its gone again iv done the camera fone trick remote works wen lookin through that iv been searhing all fourms this morning and many people havening this problem an i still havent found a solution its a 2007 red dox aint a cloned box iv checked wat is this grrn lock light was it allways there i cant remember its such a pain in the ass haven to get up from bed to change channel thats as much info as i can think of at the moment any questions ill be glad to answer if any body has a solution id be greatfull

the lock light is always there mine has been anyway mate lol my box is blue clone .
anyway back to your problem more than likely its the ir sensor you can get a replacement for a quid but then you will need a soldering iron to put it back on and if you cant solder dont bother. i solved the problem on one box by taking off the front panel and burning the solder a little with a lighter for 5 secs it worked for me lol but sometimes the ir sensor might get out of place a little and all it needs is a little push in the right direction not too much force .

if your up for the challenge which is **** really take off the cover to your box and the front panel and on the ciruit board under the front panel take it off and the ir sensor is the blasck spongy thing either move it a little or put a lighter to it or just take it shop and get them to solder you on a new one
