Default UFL Channel list problem

Hi all.Have a slight prob.Started losing channs "No Signal",earlier posts suggested powerscan which i did,all channs restored.
Had uploaded chann listings sometime earlier when all was well,so not too concerned losing fav when power-scanning.
Must be doing something wrong now because can't download chan list:-
1)Open UFL and select previous chan list and open via browser
2)Select edit
3)Click on CH List
Now all channs listed inTP ldx order
When i click on "fav" box,all info vanishes
Seem to remember you could use this function to edit channs whilst in fav mode ie sport, entertainment etc!!!!!!
Also have now found when using remote nowt happens when i press Fav key.Been ages since last done this procedure so probably doing something stupid(again).Any ideas please why cant use fav in UFL plus remote fav not responding. Many thanks

The CDF you are editing may not have any favourites entries if it is a new one uploaded from your just power scanned box. They might all just be in general channels list but not added to favourites.

As a matter of interest if:-
a)Uploaded CDF containing say 240 channs then
b)Power scanned and found 260 channs(all out of order)
c)Re-downloaded previously saved CDF
Would i lose the extra 20 channs that were found on P.Scan?

yes you would
try saving your 260 channel one and compare it to your 240 one to see what and which frequencies those extra channels are on
