pace box problems

hi,i have had a chiped ntl pace box(older one) for a while and all has been well but latly the channels have started plying up.the channels flicker and some times go blank but the sound is ok its like the picture is not tunned in proerly and has been getting worse.its still the same when i take the card out.does anyone know what the problem could be please as its doing my head in lol,thanks in advance for any help.

what card ur using u using, if channels goes sometimes could be an image problem

hi,it an ntl card,not sure what type

If it says NTL on it it's most likely a ROM 10 and if it says Virgin Media on it, it's a ROM 11.

hi pat83 go into eng menu see what type of signal you have ..... change or look at ur scart ....or run it through ur r.f. what model pace is it..

hi,i had a look in side last night and found that the cable input thing had broke from the board in side the metal box it looks like it had been fixed before so i solderd it back up but didnt make a difference,had a look in the menu and signals were good then like an idiot i got the urge to pull the red jumper and now when it boots up it gets stuck on ap52 lol.

how long was it stuck on ap52 for. A box of mine stays on ap52 for about 10minutes but then sorts itself out

it stayed like it for a while so i unpluged it over night ill plug it back in and leave it.fingers crossed lol.

hi,its a ditv-2000 the error i first had was 169 broadcast ranging fail,i wouldnt know where to start on makeing a fun card and i dont have any readers or anything.i dont see the bloke i got the box off so im abit stuck at the minute.its still stuck on AP.52 lol,does anyone know how to reset it?,thanks for your help guys
