updating d-box

i've got an old d-box, theres just one problem. it has not been updated for 4 years. from what i've heard its not possible to update to the latest software, is this true? if it is then will have to buy a new cable box, but if its a lie all i have to do is buy a rs32 cable and fix it myself. please let me know someone ASAP

All you need is a crossover cable and a little know how....unfortunately what you need to know is too much for this single post !!!

Get yourself some dbox guides and do some hard reading......when you get stuck then pop back for some help, but initially you need to help yourself by gaining a little knowledge.
