Default no flash detected

hi can any 1 help a friend of mine gave me a modem what he tryed to flash and he killed it it says no flash detected ive read up on it and it says i need blackcat 134 ive just had a private msg saying i only need the 128 build so ive just gone and got that tryed to put the original firmware back on ie sb5100_nosh.bin but it still flashes in 10 secs can any 1 help thank you

double check you wires on jtag
and if blackcat still dont work, get a copy of the new Jtag Utility 1.3 by Tom
its similar to blackat and has a script for 5100 modems

hi yes the jtag lead is working fine as wen i start the program it detects broadcom **** so i know its work the jtag lead is not a usb its a serial port and works fine the wires are ok and i use push fit connecters so i know every thing is working have you any more ideas cheers fred

al i do is open up the SchwarzeKatze program it then show broardcom etc i then goto the flash tab i untick verify then go to write all with the SB5100_NOSH but it flashes in 10 secs does that make any sense cheers fred
