I don't know about anyone else, but I'm in a band of home computer users that have grown attached to the AMD brand.
This is especially because of the "Prescott Pentium" PC I have now - which is bloody noisy. I've been considering buying an Apply, but the reliance on Intel chips makes me wary - are the newer Intel-powered apples really showing their benefits, or do they have noise problems as well? |

From what i hear, the new Intel Macs offer the benfit of having a PC as well as a MAC.You can boot the laptop as a MAC, or as a PC using windows, depending on what you are interested in doing. In my opinion, that makes the choice between Mac Or PC pretty easy. Why choose one when you can choose both?
