when they was taking items, did they ask

what is this, who owes it, and write it on paper? This happened to a mate 10 years ago, they said he was selling kiddy porn. He was seen to be sharing a file on kazaa is it?

anyways 4 months later, after taking his 3 computers and discs. THEY found no file, nothing to do with porn. They gave all the stuff back, and when he tried to sue them, no one would touch the case.

They asked who owned it, but only wrote a receipt with the item name on. Tried writing they only took the hard drive, I had a 20 minute argument to convince him he was taking the whole box and that the hard drive was a small component inside. I have never used Kazaa just Limewire occasionally, mostly torrents... even them not for a good few months when all this came out about fines etc

im guessing that :

1) isp has seen you using limewire as i know for a fact TELEWEST used to watch the ports on limewire been used.

2) If they took only storage stuff, cds, dvds, hard drives, then they are after something on your pc. if it was to do with kid porn, they would of took you to station.

3) someone has said your doing boxes or something, but then they would of looked around the houses for them

my mate got raided last year, he was a knock off nigel and he had 1000's of downloaded movies and music cd's and nothing even happened to him, i think he got charged for something but he never got any time or even a fine. They kept all his hard drives though.

I havnt a clue why they would raid your house, its not like your doing anything serious was it. They cant do anything about your eurovox they are legal, its only illegal to use a cable providers property with it ie. the white box on the wall.

You should use peer guardian, its a program that apparently stops unwanted ip's accessing your pc like the goverment, spyware ect.
