Default google chrome...anyone tried it yet

Just wondering if anybody else has tried the Google chrome web browser yet?
I have installed it and run it for a while and i must admit im fairly impressed.
for a start it seems very fast and it has a few nice touches too. like the built in task manager where you can see how much memory each tab is using.
I don't think it will drag me away from firefox yet but for a new kid on the block its pretty slick.

has anyone else give it a go? what do you think?

Not tried it yet. I, like you use firefox.

Safari is also quite a good one apparently.

Is it worth dowloading and trying out? Im using Firefox and happy with that. If Google Chrome is faster, i'll use it!!

Installed it yesterday on Windows XP.
Quite impressive - much faster than explorer. Still needs "polishing" up but promising.
Have some problems accessing Hotmail - telling me to update my browser.
But, no crashes.

I'm assuming there are a few websites out there that have done speed tests. Anyways, here is one I read: http://lifehacker.com/5044668/beta-b...ich-is-fastest
From the looks of it, its about the same as firefox

Don't like it. Lost too many of the functions I like on Firefox. Maybe the next version will be better.
