Stuck Tune 4001 - " POWERING UP...JUST A MONENT "

Right i have one of these Stuck in tune boxes blah blah, however if i take out cable feed & force it to boot its goes past the tune page,I get a page that displays "POWERING UP ..... JUST A MOMENT" , on the front of box there is a little light in the top right corner. It doesnt go past this page though.
Does this mean anything? Im just curious why it wont pass this
"POWERING UP ..... JUST A MOMENT" page. battery problem may be?

I tried adding feed when this page is on but it just knocks the box straight to TUNE again

have you checked net id in em m8 sounds as if it not set for your area also check default freq as well

Hi mate , im in pure area so net-id should have been setting itself on the 4001 box. However i was never able to enter the eng-menu with cable feed connected until a few minutes ago. I set net-id using libby & i can now enter eng-menu with cable feed connected so may the netid did needed set manually after all.
I have just connected the box to feed,this time im confident the netid & freq ect are set correctly as i was finally able to check. I'll just leave it to see how it goes from there.

I can comfirm that on page 6 SNR was at 32.4 db & page 10 SNR was at 23.3.
Lock status on both pages was locked.
Signal was also GOOD

Hopefully it might come on shortly Fingers crossed

Net ID sets automatic mate if you are in Pure that's why it changed .

yep mate i know that but it was inpossible for me to access the eng menu with feed connected untilll i set net-id with libby(Just experimenting). If i reset the box though(Pulling jumper) & they try to get into eng-menu it wont let me again untill i set it again with libby, weired ehh.

anyway it dont look like its going to come on been on the feed for ages now.

I just thought earlier i had some hope with this box when it went to " POWERING UP...JUST A MONENT ".

The box isnt holding the net-id so i need to focus on that. It holds it if i set it with libby but like the Dalmations guide says"Setting it yourself will NOT fix the problem, Fix the fault & netid should set automatically".

So if a 4001 box wont hold its net-id,how would you fix this fault?

have a look at the battery m8 could be a problem

Just havin a look at batt m8 , does it slide out from the two bits of wire at each side of it or are them two bits of wire part of the battery? lol , i dont want to be ranking it out only to find out that they are.

if memory serves me rite it just a little flat batt init like in a keyfob if so yea it just clicks out
