Looks like I'm probably going to be buying an Apple later this year.

I know there's still a wall between the operating systems on a dual boot machine, so it's not so easy to work with files between each. However, I've been considering an Apple Mac for media applications, so it's becoming increasingly tempting to actually buy an Apple now, and see if I can help wean myself off the PC. ![]() |

With the new intel mac you can also run windows as a virtual machine http://macs.suite101.com/article.cfm/WindowsOnMac . Rather than dual booting you can run the two OS's simultaneously and share files between the two.
