dont use dtv macs they wont work try to get another mac from a diff ubr try to look for macs that are 2mb = cm-2148-256 most of them will work when you have found a working mac then just change the config file to 20mb connect i hope this helps Fred

thanks for your responses,

i have tried many many many macs from different ubrs, and all fail its been like this since when i first purchased the modem a good few months ago, i also purchased another one for a friend same model etc and having same probs...

im in north west region, does anyone else have problems?

its my understanding that you sniff macs on a diff ubr from the one your going to use it on and then once you have a good collection ( somes i have used hundreds...diff configs etc) and then try it out on your ubr till you find a connection..

i haven tried it in a while as i gave up hope so has anything changed since then?

m8 as silly as it might sound are you entering the : after each 2 digits on the sigma page when entering the mac addy, eg 00:00:00:00:00 and like above once entered sometimes ive had to reboot me pc along with modem or just click repair connection, u should just enter you mac and and click reboot on ur sigma page and once though the boot up the online should be on steady if it flashes try another.
