Default Only 1 TP in Sutton, Surrey.

Hi there I am hoping that you may be able to help me with this little problem.
I have a friend of mine with a EV Max V and a while back it just lost all the channels, so I rescanned the box after deleting all the channel data, and I have tried the 8% fix software but I still only seem to get 1 TP when I scan it.

Is there any reason why I can no longer get more tp's have they changed something on the network etc? I scan on 6952 which is correct for Sutton, and also from 100 - 870. I am sure I have read somewhere that May be if I rescan from about 240 instead I might get some more TPs, could this really effect my scan?

Any help would be really appreciated. I have also checked the box on my connection in a different area and it picks up 33 tps, so I dont think its a faulty box.

Many thanks in advance.

PS If any one has a CDF file for the area I would love to try that too.

the latest firmware is 18/04/2008 (the 8% fix is only if you have the 8% problem after flashing with the latest firmware)
reflash with the 18/04/2008 and see what you get

check in system information that you have the 18/04/ installed and try doing a factory reset before scanning
Menu / Config / Clear data/pin number you get the choice to erase all channels or factory default
Choose Factory Default and (Set your symbolrate in the symbolrate option)
you will now get a screen showing Full Powerscan with symbolrate below it (also a red button for advanced install)
Pressing OK on this screen will do a full powerscan (red button goes to a screen for fast install)
