Default Football on satellite

Hi, I have an echostar D2510-IP Viaccess reciever with a 1m dish in Manchester. I have been told that if i purchase a Diablo Light 2.3 CAM and Cas Interface 3 Plus that i will be able to watch 3pm and other premier league matches. Is this correct?

Also is this relieble in the sense that will it last all season or does will it keep stopping, ie before matches and randomly?

Thanks so much for any help

You would currently be able to view the following packages, all of which have various football games:
Premiere 19E
DigitAlb 16E
Polsat 13E
Canal Digital 1W
Digi TV 1W.
All of these will not stay open until the season is over as a few are already upgrading their encryption to stop us viewing.

It depends, all satellite equipment as a shelf life, you don't get support forever.
Premiere will not be available soon as it is upgrading the encryption and might never be available again
Polsat and Digi TV will also be upgrading their encryption but if it will be available again no one knows.
DigitAlb and Canal Digital are private, only available on the Diablo 2.3 and the MII+ card, so no one knows how long they will be available.
The Cas 3+ will last you some time as it can program both Cams and cards.
Everything else is just a gamble but if you work out how much it would cost to subscribe to all the packages it usually works out to be good value.

hmmm, when you say premiere will stop soon, how long about? days or months?

and the ones that might be available again after they stop, would i just have to update it online for it to work?

finally, do you know any good/cheap+ relieble sites that sell these two, i have been given

links removed

but i only speak english so not sure about buying on this german site.
thanks again.

The Cas 3+ & Diablo 2.3 were on offer for £99, not including delivery, but I doubt you'll get them for that price.
Try contacting our sponsors to see what price they can do the Diablo 2.3 and Cas 3+ programmer for.

You need a Cas programmer to update the Diablo Cam, otherwise it wont open anything.
When will Premiere stop, how long is a piece of string?
They have almost completed the card swap ready for change of encryption so any time soon, days, weeks no one knows.
Southern Satellite has his own section on the forum, check the Techwatch classifieds at the bottom of the forum.
At the moment we are getting new underworld files for the Diablo Cam, up until the last key change, when we got a new data bin file instead, the loading of either requires a Cas programmer to load onto the Diablo Light cam.

ok, would you recommend anything else or any other package/CAM etc to watch premiership games, im only really interested in watching all Arsenal games (including the 3pm ones)

also, one more final thing, you said before, "All of these will not stay open until the season is over", do you mean not all of them will stay open, or that all of them will close before the end of the season?

thanks - legend.

Again no one can answer that question, we can not be sure what packages will be available, and for how long, there are no guarantees.
You could subscribe to DigitAlb but they have been stopped from showing Saturday 3 PM Premier league games, at least until the beginning of December, at which time we should have more information.
For now treat this as a hobby and viewing Premier league football as a bonus, hopefully we will have Canal Digtal for at least a few more months.
