Hey,

I am looking at buying a EX5000 PVR and am wondering if I bought one off eBay could I just plug it in and scan and go (with the premium channels). Or would I have to update the firmware. I have no PC's with any COM port for an RS232 lead.

hi mate just go n buy a usb converter from maplins install the drive and hey presto you will soon be talking to the box.................oh let us know how you get on plz

U cant just plug and go. U have to update the software.

Install Big Maq tool bar to get the latest software: BigMAQ.co.uk | All Things Good and FREE!!!
