Hi Guys,
Very new to the satellite scene, worked for virginmedia for a good few years so only know about the cable side of things. Now i understand you cannot get anything from sky as its not hackable. So just what could i get with a motorised dish and the right setup? I see premiere package can be hacked/decrypted but it only has about 4 channels with english audio? Is there anymore packages? looking through the FTA channels across some satellites as expected practically every channel is poor/not worth watching? What satellites would i be able to pick up? and does anyone know if there is any korean/chinese channels available with english subs? Thanks! |

4 English language channels on Premiere, you've missed a few
![]() The links below will give you a full list of the main channels, currently available, with the right equipment: _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/premiere.html _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/digitalb.html _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/polsat.html _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/canaldigital.html _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/digi.html There is also TPS, on Hotbird 13E, which has currently turned off its AES encryption so is viewable. Most of these we have had open for some time and so will not last too much longer. TPS is moving to 19E, joining another provider, and will not be available. Premiere are very close to swapping all their old viewing cards and should change encryption soon. But in the satellite hobby we usually get something new fairly soon after packages close. You are allowed upto a 1 metre satellite dish, without planning permission, in most areas, and a motorized 1 Metre dish will get you a lot of satellites to choose from. Have a read through the Satellites FAQ's section: http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/satellite-faqs.html and the Satellite for Beginners section: http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/sa...beginners.html this should provide you with a lot more information. |
