Forum history? - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hey i don't know if this is the right place to put this but i joint this forum last month and it has become a second home to me since! and i wanted to know a bit of history of this forum...ie when it stared out and how it became as big as it is, etc etc....

Moved to a more suitable place for discussion

Like most forums this one must have started off small. However unlike most forums that just grow through increasing membership Brian went for the merger route. Over the years several other forums have been absorbed into TW.

The biggest merger was a year ago when the SatelliteHelp forum was taken over - when we joined TW we doubled the membership overnight!

and then when a few cable forums shut there doors and went underground, the influx of cable pirates irrupted.....lol

Well, the forum logs show that the first member joined in Nov 2005.

out of curiousity who was the first member (not connected to the building of the site) and is he still active on the forum
