cant get hack.html

no matter what i do i just cant get to the hack.html page.i get the service page (the one that does not have hack.html at end)

no antivirus no firewwall and i read in another post about setting ip in network conections and that did not work.

i got a motorolla sb4100i bg,its cream and has like a brown stand,is this the uk or usa version?but,in the service page it says uk.

what am i doing wrong as i just feel like throwing this thing outta the window,its just i am 7 floors up

anyone.i finaly got netboot to run using another pc and ethernet as this one wont entertain the modem (it has ethernet though)

i got to STARTING FTP SERVER OK but,i didnt know if i was supposed to do more,like press any keys.i didnt know whether i was supposed to leave netbooter open or close it.

haynes guide just says run it and your modem reboots (it did all that) then it just says to open the hack.html page (which i cant get) but,it dont say what netbooter will do,whether to turn it off or leave it on.

does hack.html require me to have a service pack of a certain kind on windows?

If netboot hangs on starting FTP server, then you either have a firewall blocking something or a locked modem.

Look for the UIU-tools, that should sort it for you.

i got uiu tools running and i have definately changed the mac addy.there is no windows fitrewall on,it ios definately turned off.i have not got firewall installed by myself.

still same.

gets to ftp server ok and just wont shift off that.

i will have another go with uiu tools and see what happens,when i make time for it.

just glad i got internet i pay for.
