old mac addy still comes up,why?

hi.i have scanned for macs on solster sniffer,i have been told these will work on my area midd8,please can some1 tell me when i am entering new mac in 250 configurator and press connect all goes fine and says connect,then it says online,when i press write settings it goes back to old mac and different gateway,the explorer 192 etc says old details as well.what do i do to sort this problem out,please help some1,thanks
