Default Power Scan and yellow button option

I don't seem to have this option when I try to powerscan. I have read through several posts and threads where this seems to get more channels and frequencies. Am I doing something incredibly wrong or stupid/
Using Eurovox MaxV2008
(yes I know my email is for all to see and I'm working on it)

scan from 100.00mhz to 870.000mhz
put in your correct symbolrate
you can scan in steps of 6,7 or 8 (try 8 first)
