please help were am i going wrong

hi,trying to put new mac into 255 ambit,now i am filling all the details in 250 config and when i try to press write setting the button is very fade ,u can tell when u press a button on screen it kinda clicks in but thid wont,its not dark as the connect button,the modem corresponds to connect,i have used ambit tool and press apply it says tcp connection failed,the ethernet is in correctly and in hyperterminal it says cant connect to 23,plwase help as i am going insane now,been 3 weeks of reshearch,thanks in advance

if your modem is already flashed you dont need the max32 conected.
just set your nic to 192.168.100.10
conect your ethernet lead to modem and run the 250 config tool press conect enter your mac your upr then write.turn off modem reset nic turn pc/laptop off conect the cable feed turn on power to modem leave for a few mins then turn on pc/laptop and hopefully you should be online

hi hantsmale,thanks for the replt.when i press connect it comes up as unable to connect to 192 etc,is the nic mac the 1 in 250 config at the top left near the telnet box,tried to open internet 192 but says offline .please help

no thats the box ip..your nic is your network card on pc where you plug ethernet lead into
