Default mac address

hi guys just wondering if anyone can help me please,
i,ve just orderd a max232 cable but is there a way to change a mac address without the cable.

HI m8

What modem do you have?

If its the sb5101 or ambit 250/255
Then put haxorware on the modem thats the easyest way.
You could also use the Sigma2 infiniti firmware you can use ambit config software to change the mac and other settings with that.

if you have a modem with console only firmware then you will have to use telnet commands to change the mac.
this depends on the shell you have on the modem...
