Most of the interest in Satellites is from hobbyists I guess.

With a motorised dish or other multisatellite dish setup there is far more choice, than there would ever be on cable. Most of the FTA channels are in foreign languages but there are a few gems out there.

The sat section is so big because TW merged with a big sat hobby forum called SatHelp a year ago. We worked hard to build sathelp into THE place for beginners to the sat hobby to find help which is why there are weird andd wonderful sub headings

Theres far more to satellite than sky - theres an entire galaxy of satellites out there to receive signals off - most of us serious hobbyists have THOUSANDS of channels to play with - Ive got 5 dishes up in the garden giving me everythingh from MRTV3 in Burma to Caspionet from Kazakhstan!

BTW - Most of the ex sathelp regulars who stayed after the merger still wish the cable section would disappear!
