I have a Pace1000 and it's a CW area box i think...i've been told this will NOT work in a TW area. I have read that because of the new 3.6 update, stb that didn't work in some areas do now...
If so how do i do this?

it will work in a t/w area .unless the stb has had a no update mod, i.e previously tampered with to stop the new updated 3.6

From what i believe once it's on the Virgin software it should work. If it's an Ex C&W box on older software(NTL loading screen) you will have to take it to an Ex C&W area to update it then bring back. To do this you will have to set NetID and def Freq to the area you are updating it, let it do it's stuff then reset with your Def Freq & NetID and plug in. I have a 2000 & 4000 which were non TW boxes which are going fine so i'd say it's the same for the 1000?
