or you could take it to the area it should be in plug it in let it update then bring it back to yours and it will have new virgin media software on it alot easyer than all that messing about flashing marcos

Yeh I was told that was an option but decided to go down this route for now just to gain the knowledge, and sometimes it's not always easy to get to correct area for download.

dood, im swapping a box in the classified section. its a 4001n which is no good to me in c+w.
