yes this seems to be a massive problem thats going on at the moment and no one seems to know what it is as ive posted a question about this as well and received no answer. Things to check when scanning for mac's
Disable firewall/antivirus some can be used but most will block information needed as theres so many out there its hard to say if yours will work with it on so turn it off Connect modem direct to feed take out splitters boxes ect you have running on the line. Ive scanned for 24h in brute force mode and returned appsolutly no macs sorry correction mac's with no configs just dead numbers as these will never work they will either say "network access granted" in infinite, sigma what ever hackware your using on your modem. But when you surf take you straight to either a registration page or do nothing, clearly the cable companys are doing something new or the scanners no longer work properly but no one seems to know anything about this as most people just swop macs with friends ect from the bottom of the modems and never scan so dont have to deal with this. |

first thing set your nick to 192.168.100.10
do not conect your feed to modem conect modem to pc then conect power to modem. run the 250 config fixed program enter your mac address and enter frequency and flash to modem pull power lead from modem reset your nic and turn off pc. put power lead back in modem and leave for a couple of mins then power up pc. then open internet explorer enter http:\192.168.100.1 enter user name: Infinite password: SetValue this allows you into box settings go to security make sure your frequency is same as you set click apply even if you dont have to change it then exit page. |
