I have just purchased a EV ex5000 with seagate120g HD when I try to record by pressing the record button it only records for 4 secs and I am unable to watch this clip through PVR so thought I would try recording through epg the program shows up on the menu but once again I am unable to play this program also the HD shows that its at 0% even though there are a few recordings on it has anyone else had the same problem if so how did you fix it

I read that post first but did not think that it was specific enough for the problem I had.

Had same problem - thought box was knacked. Just switched off box completely for 30secs, powered back up and it was fine.
