Moteck 2100
or
Technomate 2100A
or

They are more or less identical, except the 2200 has metal gears and the others have nylon gears

I would go for the 2200 myself out of the 3

why not try the darkmotor metal gear as whatsat gave it a good score in there review

I run both the Moteck and Dark Motor, and still find the Moteck the better one even after 5 years of continued service, the Dark Motor is noisey compared to the Moteck

not too sure on the moteck myself as i have one which only lasted a year but my dish is exposed so maybe was the wrong choice for me but worked well when it did

what score did whatsat give the technomate 2200?

I think i shall go for the 2200, as its metal geared and more or less the same price.

Both my 2100a and my 2200 have been going for over 18 months with no problems at all. The 2200 is considerably louder than the 2100a but its still a good motor

When you say considerably louder, how much louder is that? Does the 2200 move faster also?

darkmotor looks good but my stab motor has been a 100 % for over 3 years now slow but spot on ever time

I can hear the 2200 in my living room when the dish moves where as i can't hear the 2100a. The dishes are on the back of the house and the living room is at the front

The 2200 is about 3 seconds quicker than the 2100a from 28.2e to 30w on my setup
