A quattro LNB is for feeding to a multiswitch and has four DIFFERENT outputs:

Low band vertica/high band vertical/low band horizontal/high band horizontal.

You can't feed a quattro straight to a receiver as you would only get say 1/4 of the available transponders.

A quad LNB IS for feeding straight to a receiver. It has four IDENTICAL outputs.

Each output is capable of being switched between low band or high band and between vertical or horizontal polarisation. The receiver selects which combination it needs using different LNB supply voltages and the presence or not of a 22kHz tone.

Installing a motorised dish is very straight forward, especially when you have done it about 15 times.

Possibly some transponders like 11977V and a couple of other stronger verticals, it depends where you are in the UK.

I used to get them on my 90cm Fortec star, with the Inverto silvertech LNB.
