Nothing at the mo, other than do a card with the ird and a fake bk so you can use the fta channels and record them. I think.

Someone else may confirm this.

Not much use without a card.

Hi, do these need to have net id changed, I am thinking of getting onw just to view FTA HD channels and record what I like but have never owned one. Will it allow me to watch HD channels on my HD ready TV? Cheers.

The only way to mod these boxes is if it came with a paired card or known BK as mentioned in previous post , LED Simms or jtag will not work on this box..

As for advertising it on flea bay it all depends on who's bidding , if they know what there looking at you won't get much for it , or if you get someone with beer goggles and a paypal account on a friday night you could get a few quid for it , i would use the buy it now or best offer auction as these and other cable related equipment usually get removed before the end time.

It does have its uses without the card.

For example. you could use it as:

>FTA Receiver with record functions
>Doorstop
>Wedge for wonky table leg
>Step-Stool

Or, take the innerds out of it, and you have a nice box to store useless junk within!

Yes, I am joking indeed, but all the above is true, technically

If you look in Downloads, there is a file called V+ Application. That tells you everything you need to do in order to mod this box and their are diagrams to help you further .
