This poll is confusing. It talks about Nvidia and ATi and then asks me which speakers I use.
As for the video card discussion, I was on the Nividia train for many years. It took me until about 2 years ago to switch to ATI. I am in the ATI camp for now, but it really just depends on what is the best price/performance ratio. |

I had bad experiences with ATI years back, when their drivers were really bad.
Have they fixed things now? I assume so since their popularity seems to have increased. Still I have a sour ATI taste in my mouth still and do prefer Nvidia cards. |

Using some 5.1 speakers from Cambridge Soundworks, bought about 5 years ago. Still playing nice, and they've always had a nice bass effect.

I have those as well! They are awesome, nice subwoofer and the speakers are really small but crystal clear sound. Do Cambridge still make speakers these days? |

No idea - I think Cambridge Soundworks were bought out by Creative a while back.
Was quite impressed when I originally opened the box and found the subwoofer.

I prefer Nvidia, they are always updated compared to ATi. Nvidia was the first to introduce quad-sli technology and their drivers are updating more frequently and include much more features than ATi's. I am currently using two Nvidia 7900GTX in sli and plan on using eVGAs step-up program to purchase the new 8800GTX coming out late this year.

I've used both Nvidia and ATI, but I prefer ATI by far. Though I understand that lately Nvidia have been closing the gap somewhat on ATI, and for higher end cards (and budgets...) Nvidia are, technically speaking, better.
I'd still choose ATI though. No idea why. |
