I would rather use NVIDIA as I've heard many excellent things about it such as graphics quality is excellent. However I also use a laptop at home running on win vista home pre, using ati raedeon not sure what model graphics card but it runs games such as microsoft flight sim x deluxe perfectly.

Nvidia all the way for me. I have always used Nvidia (with the exception of an ATI Radeon X1600 PRO which I bought cheap) and I can't fault their cards. I am currently only using a 1GB GeForce 8500GT but I will be getting a 9 series card soon after christmas.

nVidia all the way..

nVidia graphic drivers are far more stable than the ATI/catalyst bollocks.. (having just bought an Asus 4650 1GB HDMI) I keep on having to re-install the graphics drivers at every cold boot of the PC with windows XP Pro.

Prior to this, I've stuck with the Riva TNT/ TNT2 and GeForce chipset based cards without a problem for 9 years and wish I hadn't changed now.

Onto fleabay the ATI card will go if this issue isn't corrected in the next Catalyst release.
