Right so i am going 2 try and get the P option back on both of these 2 day. i alredy have the max232 adaptor thing and was wondering if some one could tell me all the files i would need 2 get the p option back then flash

im a total noob at flashing modems havnt done one yet

thats the proplem with ppl opening to many posts, shpuld really stick to 1

yeah ok , im just ****ed cause the prog crashed when writing the bootloader twice on 2 different modems ****ing them both up, any ideas?

yes that is what crashed, twice on 255 and 250

Same thing happened to me.
It seams that one of the boot loaders the comes with the program Crashes it. i had to blackcat a new bootloader onto the modem.
then used telnet to flash the 2mb dump file worked great.
I would be careful using softjtag its a little bit temperamental!
