I dont know if its real or fake but its badged up as a DB500-S £69.99

Enigma image.

I cant get it to lock on to any satellites, but with my dish and motor and 1000D+ every channel works.

I dont know what to do

Old came preloaded with Enigma.

Got the guy who sold it to come back with another, he set it up for £25 and loaded the Nabilosat image whatever that is

A DVB500 is a clone box pure and simple, you will be ok as long as you don't put any Gemini image above version 4.20

You should have read up before you purchased the box. The Dreambox and their clones are not easy boxes to get to work. Please don't take this the wrong way but i think your going to struggle with it unless you do a lot of reading on it first.

The Nabilosat image is basically the boxes operating system.

Well atm it just opens the same old gear my TM 1000D+ would.

I bought it knowingly it'd be a clone, I guess thats what £70 gets.

But this one works better than the first he sold me. I just need to find out the other capabilities it can do. I'm glad it works with a s*y card anyway.

How do I go about installing other images? All I have is a USB to Serial port...

A DB isnt a magic box - you wont get much more than a TM on it unless you go down the card share route

Hi m8

First can i say u was well and truely done being charged £25 to install an image which can be downloaded free off the net all u had to do was do some reading of sites that have faq on how to set up.
A simple ethernet connection from your router would get u access to communicate with your box.

Anyway the receiver can receive a whole lot more but u need to join a network , i say no more than that lol

Take it inside the box your guy has input the latest keyfiles and emu's ?? so u can see premier etc
