hi , a quick question please. i traded some macs from another urb & im using ambit.

0**05**F0**0 - cmreg-ntlhm100-light.cm - *0.**3.18**.*1

0**05**F0**0 - this goes in modem mac address

cmreg-ntlhm100-light.cm - this goes in TFTP file name

*0.**3.18**.*1 - where does this go , do i even need this ?

That's your TFTP IP address. Are you using the Ambit config tool?

amBit yea , im in belfast so i thought i needed to use one of these for my tftp ip:
62.254.32.20
62.254.32.21
63.254.32.21

& for my nicnac address i use the mac address on the bottom of modem,only i change the last digit to one higher

whats wrong with using your own mac address(From subbed modem) on a flashed modem?

Because it'll look like youve hacked your sub an are forcing the config. Get a mac from another UBR

o i will not be using my subbed one , i just used to test the connection & make sure my flashed modem was in working order... was just curious
